Verdagy has been endorsed as a supplier for forthcoming Shell green hydrogen initiatives following the technical approval of its electrolysers by the prominent oil and gas company.
Shell conducted Technical Feasibility and Technology Development Reviews for Verdagy’s 20MW eDynamic Electrolysis system, in addition to a comprehensive HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) review, affirming its readiness for deployment.
Typically utilized as a foundational component for renewable hydrogen installations exceeding 100MW in capacity, Verdagy’s electrolyser module has received substantial backing, amounting to $73 million, in August of last year (2023). This financial support is aimed at facilitating the rollout and commercialization of the 20MW electrolyser module.
